This payment to Hunter Law, PLLC for the work related to the limited purpose of drafting a QDRO for your case, having the judge sign it, and sending it to the plan administrator for approval and division. We will not be involved in disputes about percentages, amounts, or the deductions, or offsets that may be necessary as part of the decree terms. These issues will need to be dealt with by the parties, their private legal counsel and the court, when necessary. This QDRO process normally takes 4-10 weeks. Attorney David Hunter will be making a limited appearance of counsel as counsel for the party who started the QDRO process for the limited purpose of processing the QDRO with the court only. Finally, until all the information requested in this form has been provided, no work will begin on your QDRO. The cost for this is $500 per QDRO and is earned in full when sent to the plan administrator. If the fee is to be paid one-half by each party, no work will be done on your case until both parties have paid in full.
